Deciding on My Senior Exhibition Work

I think I've finally pared down two solid ideas for my Senior Exhibition work - I'd either like to do a book incorporating writing from my journal and comics with personal anecdotes, or a demo for a game I'd like to make. I'm leaning more towards the demo - I made a small walking demo once before, so the real challenge would be setting up the battle system. It's Wave Star Ruby - a rhythm RPG adventure. Ideally, the "battles" are as easy as making a rhythm game segment where players have to hit notes at the right timing. The twist is that I'd like the rhythm portion to be modular for the player - they aren't copying a rhythm they're seeing, they're making a rhythm from drag and drop options. That way it emulates writing a song and performing it - but that's a lot more complex than just any rhythm game. Much to consider. I'll keep updating my progress here.

In other news, my 70 inch prints are almost done! I'll upload them soon!
